Technical Series CD-ROM

If you are a collector of these fine radios or are thinking about collection the Zenith Trans-Oceanic radios, this is the CD-ROM made just for you. The CD-ROM is produced for the purpose of being a technical reference for restoring or servicing Trans-Oceanic radios. It requires a PC running Windows, an internet browser and a CD-ROM player to use this technical CD-ROM. Each service manual is an executable program that contains a digital browser that accesses the service and schematic information. You can view, enlarge, rotate and print a page, group of pages or the entire manual.

This CD contains every technical manual for every model and variation made by Zenith for the Trans-Oceanic series radios. This CD-ROM is focused on the "TRUE" Trans-Oceanic radios, those that have short-wave bands on them. There are others with AM or AM/FM only and this CD-ROM does not contain information on these radios, but some of the companion units that were made to look like a Trans-Oceanic are included on the CD. For non- Trans-Oceanic radios contact Radio Era Archives for schematic and service data. This CD is reserved for every model made by Zenith for its Trans-Oceanic short-wave radio series. This covers radios made from 1941 until the late 1970's and contains tube, transistor and integrated circuit models. There are 22 different service manuals included on this CD-ROM including other Trans-Oceanic related information. In addition to service data and manuals, there are pictures of most models from a Zenith Trans-Oceanic Museum and repair & restoration tips for these fine radios and even more on this unique CD-ROM resource.

Some of the schematics and service data are very difficult to find and no one has ever put together a compendium of servicing data for this line or short-wave receivers so for the new Millennium, Radio Era Archives is pleased to offer the collecting community a CD-ROM just for the Trans-Oceanic radios.
