E-Mail Testimonial

From time to time we get some interesting E-mail comments about our web-service.  In April, 2000, Bruce Reynolds wrote the following and I quote . . . . . . . . .

"Today I got the manual I ordered from you for the 'classic' tuner I found in a trash heap along the road while driving with the wife. (Only a died-in-the-wool nut --like myself-- would notice the bezel of an early '60s Knight tuner amongst a heap of junk.) She slid down in the seat and covered her head with a sweater as I reversed in a flash, snapped to a halt next to the trash, threw open the trunk, and gathered my stash. With the schematic you provided, it took only an evening to have the tuner running again. It's such a simple and friendly device, and it sounds great!  More, without a zillion knobs and digital displays, wife can actually use it... unlike the half dozen modern receivers we've got, all of which are so complicated to program and operate that we just leave each set to a different station and turn them off and on like a giant brute force channel selector.  Anyway, we got the manual reproduction, and I just wanted to say 'thanks' and that it's a great service you provide. And it was a breeze selecting the data I wanted and ordering it off your site.

I suspect that if I continue these drives thru the country, I'll be contacting you again! Thanks!

Bruce"
