Amateur Radio Equipment and items

We get Amateur Radio (HAM) equipment and related electronic items in Estate consignments and liquidate these items.  Most of this equipment we will post on this section of our Radio Era website for a short period before we will auction it off on Ebay auctions.  Take a look, there may be some vintage equipment that you are looking for . . . . .We will list this type of equipment in the flea-market section of our web-site.

Original Equipment Manuals

This is a listing of available original manuals that we have acquired  through acquisition of multiple estates and through purchases, trades etc.  We only have one of each type so if you find something that matches what you have and you want an ORIGINAL manual, go for it while we have it.

Edison cylinders and records

This area of our store has a listing of various Edison 4 minute cylinders available for sale as well as a wide selection of original Edison records.  We believe that REA is the only current source on the Internet offering quantities of these rare old recordings for sale.  We are currently low on these old cylinders having sold all of our 600+ ones that we obtained a few years ago. but we buy them whenever we can find them.

Antique & old radio information and schematics - 1915-1980

This category of schematics has over 1,00,000 diagrams of old radios.  The schematics come from Riders, Bietman, Gernsback, Radio College of Canada, Girardi, Service Manual Series,  and other sources. We also have many from manufacturers original manuals, books, and service bulletins.  We have many beyond 1970 but our primary emphasis on stocking these schematics is for the earlier years.  We have CB schematics, Auto Radio schematics, old Hi-Fi schematics and schematics for Transistor  radios as well.  If it was made in the mid-1970's or before, you should assume we have what you are looking for.

 

Phonograph-record player service data - all dates

This category covers phonographs and record players of all types and manufacturers.  This service data comes from special publications by Rider and SMS as well as data direct from the various manufacturers.  

 

Ham & test equipment manuals

This category of over 100,000 manuals and schematics are from the original equipment manufacturer's published information - generally in the Ham radio, hi-fi, commercial sound and high-end test equipment arena.  We have owners manuals which generally have operating instructions and a schematic, we have service manuals which generally do NOT tell you how to operate the radio but delve in great detail about the servicing and repair of the radio, and we have complete construction manuals from such famous companies who made kits, as Allied, Lafayette, Heathkit and others. We will note which type is available and a price for each.  Since there are thousands of these manuals, we have broken the manufacturers names down into the alphabet so there will be 26 categories from A-Z for those who just want to browse the list.  We will provide a link for this, but we will also have a fast search engine to "search" the database including prices with a shopping cart feature to enable fast searching and an easy way to purchase.
