Test Equipment For Sale

From time to time we will obtain some test equipment from a large lot of equipment that we acquired and offer it for sale in an "as-is and "where-is" condition. We will make comments on condition as we deem appropriate. We are not in the test equipment business, we do not calibrate or align test equipment and have no "standards" equipment that would allow us to do so. But we will comment on the equipment as best we can and you can make your own decision as to condition based on what you read and see. All of our equipment was acquired as part of some electronic estates and most was very well cared for. Assume all this estate equipment working.

Military TS452E/U Synchroscope Sweep Generator with markers. Measures from 5-100MHz, lab stardard operation built for the military. In good condition, untested. Has built-in oscilloscope for visual readings. $ 90	Hewlett-Packard 400D VTVM - lab standard unit, Assume it working, we will test before shipment to make sure it powers up. Supplied with a set of test probes. You can see the ranges in the picture below. This item came from a precision electronics company estate. This unit is supplied with a set of probes. $ 65
Sola very heavy duty constant voltage transformer, model 281149. Leads are all intact and in good physical condition. $ 25 We can supply a picture if you really need one . . . just ask	Western Reserve Model 300 Analog and Digital multimeter / passive scaler. In excellent condition with probes and built-in instruction manual. $ 35
We have one or two Military frequency meters. This one is the TS323/URR frequency meter complete, intact with all original equipment including calibration book, untested. $ 25	This is a Weston lab-standard test instrument that was (I think) built in the 30's. It comes from a large electronic estate owned by a deceased FCC engineer. He had a large estate with all sorts of old precision lab type of test instruments. There are two scales calibrated on the dial, 5A and 10A. There are no instructions but it would not take a rocket scientist to hook up a couple of cables to this beauty. As you can see it is housed in its beautiful hardwood wood case. The case, latch and handle are all in excellent condition. This instrument would make a nice addition to a precision vintage test equipment collection or perhaps in a lab making standards measurements. $ 50
This is a Weston lab-standard test instrument that was (I think) built in the 30's. It comes from a large electronic es tate owned by a deceased FCC engineer. He had a large estate with all sorts of old precision lab type of test instruments. As you can see it is in museum quality condition housed in its wood case brass corners to protect the instrument. Although it is called an industrial circuit tester, this is obviously the fore-runner of what we call the volt ohm meter (VOM). The top of the lid has the original instructions and a set of test leads is installed in the top of the instrument. The meter and case and handle are all in excellent physical condition. This instrument would make a nice addition to a precision vintage test equipment collection or perhaps in a lab making standards measurements. $75	This is a Weston lab-standard test instrument that was (I think) built in the 30's. It is housed in a hardwood wood case that is in excellent condition. This would be a good addition to a vintage test equipment collection or for a testing lab. WESTON LABORATORY PRECISION DC-MA METER, MODEL 1 This is another estate item we are selling. This is a very professional meter and is in very good physical condition. Although not shown it has its own heavy duty cowhide carrying case. This meter reads DC Milliamperes in 2-20-50-200 and 1000ma. This is a Lab-Standard that would be used in a Physics lab or a Calibration Operation. $35	RCA WV-77E Professional Vacuum Tube Volt-Meter This is a nice RCA Volt-Ohmist VTVM in good physical condition. It is working and has a complete set of hookup and test cables and power cable. We will supply it with an instruction manual. This is a must-have item for any test bench. $40.00
HEWLETT-PACKARD 5301A RF COUNTER - MEASURING SYSTEM This is another estate item we are selling. This is a very professional meter and is in very good physical condition. We power up all electronic equipment to make sure it is working. The system measures up to 10MHz. It has the 5310A battery pack (which needs charging). So the counter will operate on line voltage as well as battery power for field use.	Bell & Howell Schools Transistorized Volt-Ohm Meter This is another piece of test equipment that came from an estate. This is a nice transistorized VOM in good physical condition (no extra charge for the paper clip on the meter face when the picture was taken. It is battery operated but has not been tested. This is a must-have item for any test bench. $35.00
RCA INSTITUTES AF-RF SIGNAL GENERATOR This is another estate item we are selling. This is an apparent kit built by a student of the RCA Institutes. This was a prestigious operation by RCA to teach electronics to persons and many of their students were world reknown for their achievements. This is an RF-AF generator in multiple scales and you can see that it goes up to about 50MHz in frequency. It powers up when plugged in. All of the test equipment in this estate was apparently working. Probes are easy to make with amphenol type connectors. $35.00	HEWLETT-PACKARD 412A DC VTVM This is another estate item we are selling. This is a very professional meter and is in very good physical condition. We power up all electronic equipment to make sure it is working. You can read the scale and knob nomenclature for the ranges. It will read up to 1,000 volts full scale DC. It has the power cord, ground lead and probe lead. We will supply the manual on CD-ROM. The voltage probe tip is missing but the manual just shows a 100K ohm resistor from the voltage input circuit to the circuit being tested so a test lead could easily be fashioned if the user didn't want to get the original probe part from HP or other sources. We understand that parts are still available from HP for these old workhorse meters. $65.00
PACO V-70 VTVM - VERY NICE This is another estate item we are selling. This is a very professional meter and is in very good physical condition. We power up all electronic equipment to make sure it is working. You can read the scale and knob nomenclature for the ranges. It will read up to 1,500 volts full scale, AC or DC. It has the power cord, ground lead and switchable AC/DC probe.	GENERAL ELECTRIC FIELD HAND HELD AC VOLT-AMP METER This is another estate item we are selling. This is a very professional meter and is in very good physical condition. All switches and knobs work normally. This meter reads AC Volts and Amperes in 3 ranges of from 150 - 300 and 750. It comes with a heavy duty cowhide leather carrying case. The meter face has the model number of BAK1A1AE4 if that means anything to you. This is the type of field voltage-ammeter style meter that the electric company would have or an electrician working in the field. $95.00
EICO 950B CAPACITOR-RESISTOR COMPARITOR BRIDGE This is another estate item we are selling. We plug in all electronic items just to make sure they work. This is a very nice tester and is in very good physical condition. All switches and knobs work normally. You can see that the unit powers up properly. We will supply operating instructions from our archived files for this resistance-capacitance comparator bridge. $ 75.00	WESTON LAB STANDARD PRECISION VOLTMETER-Model 341 This is another precision lab standard test equipment item that came from an estate. As you can see, it is encased in a hardwood case with latching cover with key and lock. The operating instructions are in the lid of the latching cover. This is the type of lab standard that you would find in a calibration facility or perhaps in a Physics Lab in a University. We've never used an item like this so don't know much more to tell you except that although dusty it is in excellent physical condition. This meter measures with absolute accuracy both AC and DC voltages in 3 ranges of 15, 30 and 45 volts. $45.00
RUBICON 2732 LAB STANDARD PRECISION POTENTIOMETER This is another precision lab standard test equipment item that came from an estate. As you can see, it is encased in a hardwood case with latching cover with key and lock. The operating instructions are in the lid of the latching cover. This is the type of lab standard that you would find in a calibration facility or perhaps in a Physics Lab in a University. We've never used an item like this so don't know much more to tell you except that although dusty it is in excellent physical condition. $ 50.00	DUMONT 1024 (Military O-9960C Type 1 MIL-SPEC OSCILLOSCOPE - NICE CONDITION AND WORKING This precision Dumont (Military) Dual Channel Oscilloscope came from an estate. It is working and will be supplied with a manual and test probe cable and power cord. It also has a dust cover to cover the large CRT display tube and to protect it. This scope is fully transistorized except the CRT and has a bandwidth of 60MHz according to the manual. The scope weighs about 35# and will be packed well to protect it in shipment. If you are local to Dallas, we also have a Scope Cart that you can have for free with the scope, but we will not pack or ship it as it is pretty large. $100.00
