Schematic Diagrams - Old Radio-TV-Equipment
Service Information

We have amassed approximately 1,000,000 schematic diagrams available in this category of antique radios and all types of old electronic items. We get inquiries from people about old radios that generally fall into the following examples:

A.  I need a schematic.  I know the name of the manufacturer and a model number and/or chassis number.  I believe it was made before 1946.  If you fit into this category and you are ready to order click the "add to the cart" button at the bottom of this paragraph and fill in the information blank.  The cost for a Riders schematic is $ 10.00

I know the make & model number and think my radio was made before 1946 . . . I want to order a Riders schematic.  I understand that the Rider's schematics are $ 10.00 each.

But a lot of people fall into the following categories with their old radios . . . .

B. I have an old radio, don't know who made it, don't know how old it is, can't find a model number, or some variety of these factors.  If you don't know who made it, we are immediately in trouble.  If you provide us with the tube types and the number of each type, we can provide a search for the proper schematic.  The same scenario is applicable if you know who made it but don't know the model number.  We generally can find a proper schematic if you will provide us as much information as possible about the radio.  The cost for a Riders search is  $ 18.00 if the radio was made before 1946.  If it was made after 1946, we will do a Service Manual Series search and the cost is $ 35.00. See more detailed information about schematic searching here.  When you order, you will put in the information in the spaces provided and that is all we need to process your order.  To order, fill in the information about the make and model and chassis number if there is one, but you will have to give us all the information you can about this radio, how many tubes, how many of each type for us to do this search.  Just fill out the information below and if you need more space, send us an email with all of the tube data as we will match it to your order.

C. I have an old battery radio.  I know the name of the manufacturer, but there is no model number.  Because there were many, many radios built from available radio parts in the 1920's, many of these had very limited production and even some were one of a kind.  There are perhaps dozens of brand names of old battery sets that simply have NO SCHEMATICS available.  We have a Rider's manufacturers list below on this page and you can scan this list to see if your radio is listed.  We can usually find a schematic that matches the tubes but it might not match exactly your specific radio.  Interestingly enough, radio technology in the 20's was not rocket science so the circuits were similar between designs and in any event, all manufacturers had to match their circuits up to the operating characteristics of the tubes that were common in all radios.  If you don't want us to do a search, you can do one yourself.  We have prepared a collection of 100 old battery set schematics from the Riders collection.  Based on the fact that these old radios were not too sophisticated, you can generally find a schematic that will match or come close to matching your set.  This is our publication R1791 and the cost is
$ 18.00
