Loans &
Donations
Who are these Radio Era Archive masked bandits?? By now some may wonder
what we do with the money that we get by selling manuals, schematics, CD's and
books. Believe it or not, we put it to good use. The funds are used
in two ways, to keep this operation alive and well by paying the rent and light
bills, and to fund the equipment that is required to create digital archives of
mountains of magazines, books, schematics and the like as well as to pay for
incoming and outgoing freight for books, collections and even radios.
Radio Era Archives is a labor of love, surely not a labor of
making money as the labor that is expended in this entire operation is paid for
by other means. Fortunately we have another company that provides revenue enough to pay for
some of the REA labor. But.......
We can use your help - if you have some good old radio
books, reference works that you have, we could use your loan or donation to save
this information for all time - digitally. Let us know what you have in
the way of complete reference works that you would consider worthy of saving . .
. . We've provided a feedback form below . . . so help us out.
Donations are always accepted because we can always use anything that represents
good information on the age of radio, but if you can't donate, consider a
loan. If it is something that we can use and feel that there is some value
in saving whatever it is that you have . . . we would copy it and return it in
good condition after the copying process. We reward loans and donations
with a CD-ROM when and if that publication is used in an electronic
publication. We will appreciate any help that you can offer . . .
