Royal 3000-1  Transistorized Trans-Oceanic

The Zenith Royal 3000 -1 is the next series made after the Royal 1000 transistorized Trans-Oceanic. The Royal 3000-1 is a modification to the Royal 3000 as it has a 12V adapter jack on the side of the radio so it may be powered by a 12V power adapter.  The Royal 3000 was only powered by batteries.  This radio is about as mint as you get as it is almost in brand new condition.  The chrome has no blemishes, only the front has a small thumb nail print showing which we are sure could be polished out with a soft cloth.  The handle is in perfect shape, the antenna is straight,  we put some batteries in it to see if it worked and we tested it on FM and it works perfectly and sounds great.  The original instruction and log book is present in its compartment and the battery compartment looks like it was not used.  All in all this is one real beautiful radio.
